That's right! Soon it will be time to get that lawn equipment out of "mothball". And yes, it will probably be just like last year, it won't start. How about a new year resolution!! Take it to a service center, that's just what it needs. Oh sure, you've seen the "do it yourself" shows. They, at best, only give you the basics. They don't tell you your equipment needs more than a spark plug. They don't tell you if the job isn't done properly, you could be risking serious injury to yourself or someone else. "Tinkering" with the equipment could cause components to fail. If your equipment is still under warranty, working on it yourself will void that warranty.

You spent a lot of money on that equipment, why take a chance? Don't you want it to last as long as possible? Take it to a local service center and get things done right. Equipment is much more complicated than the stuff most of us grew up with. "They are all the same" doesn't apply any more, so you have to have the correct parts and the correct adjustments.

Don't wait until the busy season, unless you want to get out of doing that lawn work for a couple of weeks. Once March gets here, that's what your wait time will be to get repairs. Go ahead and get that equipment in, get it serviced and you'll be ready for the season. And remember, regular service will help extend the life of your expensive equipment.
