ARE YOU READY FOR SPRING?

Saturday March 7th, 2009 - 5:01AM

Well gang, looks like the warmer weather has finally arrived. Time to start thinking about getting your lawn in shape. If your equipment has been in the garage all winter, there are a few things you need to do to that equipment before you unleash it on the lawn.
Change the oil in all of your 4 cycle engines, replace it with a quality 30 weight oil. Use caution not to overfill, sometimes that's easy to do. Clean or replace the air filter, replace the spark plug and sharpen or replace the blade on your mower. Make sure you have fresh fuel. Don't get that gas can out that's been sitting next to the mower all winter and expect it to be good. For the 2 cycle equipment, usually string trimmers, edgers, hedge clippers and blowers, clean or replace the air filter, fill with fresh fuel and replace the spark plug. These few things will help you get a good start on the summer lawn care chores.
If you don't think you want to tackle the issue, bring your equipment to us and we'll service it for you, and make sure everything is in proper working order.
